We are up and running with all of our programs and we have had a lot of our skiers get on snow. This past week we saw our West Yellowstone travelers get a taste of winter and enjoy a fantastic camp up north. Let us all continue up our snow dances and cross our fingers for some snowy weather. Even thought it is warm out, lets all continue to have our skiers prepared with the appropriate gear for our dryland training. Keep a look out each week for your updated training schedule from your individual coaches.
Our first race of the season is the RMN JNQ in Frisco December 16th-17th. Please sign up your skiers by December 8th to participate. To sign up please go to our blog at https://avscnordic.wordpress.com/2014-race-sign-up/ . All of our other race signups are there as well if you want to give yourself a head start.
Grand Mesa Camp is still on hold weather permitting. We would like to go the weekend of December 8th-10th if the weather cooperates. Stay Tuned!
If you ordered new training gear, please be a patient. There are a number of items on backorder that we are still waiting for and we will let you know ASAP when they arrived and are ready. Thank you again for your patience.
Lastly, there are a number of ways for you as parents to volunteer this winter. We have our fantastic Nordic Bonfire event on January 19th, our home race on February 3rd and our RMN U14 Championships on March 17th and 18th. Now is the time to figure out which events you can help with and you will be receiving more information as the events approach.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and keep up the great work!
